Frequently asked questions.
My child is 4 and attends school at foundation level, can they come to Jelly Fitness?
Unfortunately, no. We are only insured for 5 years and over. We are not employed by the school therefore have slightly different regulations.
Can my child bring a mobile phone?
No. We are wanting the children to be free of technology unless they are walking home alone. If this is the case, you must fill out a walking home form before you leave them with us.
We will keep all mobile devices, including phones and tablets, in our possession until their departure.
Where are you located?
Leen Mills Lane, Hucknall, Nottingham, NG15 8BZ.
When you enter Leen Mills lane you see a school called Holy Cross, we are NOT located there. You will need to continue along the lane until the very end. Here you will see a large green fence and gates where we are located.
Head through the gates, if open (call our telephone numbers, if locked) and drive through.
We are situated in the hall, just past reception. Do not head to reception as no one will be around. Walk through the wooden gates just past the reception entrance and you will see a pair of red fire exit doors. Knock or ring the bell if no one is at the door.
What does my child/children need to bring.
As we are moving majority of the day, and outside in all conditions we suggest they wear appropriate fitness clothing. We suggest they do not come in their best clothing due to rips, mud, wet weather and of course sliding along the floor.
Please note: Crocs are NOT appropriate for Sports Camp – even in sports mode! Please ensure they have a pair of trainers to wear if they arrive in Crocs or sliders.
If the weather is wet, we would advise they bring a spare set of clothes as we will play out where possible, even in rain.
Your child must come with a packed lunch – we have 1 snack time about 10:15am and lunch at 12pm. Because we are very busy, please ensure they come with enough food. A water bottle is a must please. We will fill this up as many times as they need throughout the day.
They can bring scooters, bikes, skateboards, roller skates, Inline skates, POGO sticks, and even time machines, but they bring safety equipment such as helmets and pads, they must wear them when we have “free play”.
We are always amazed at how many children arrive without a coat, please make sure they have a coat – unless its 30+ degrees!
If the weather is hot, a hat will be required please.
We will also endeavor in summer to have water fights, in this case, please provide a FULL spare set of clothes, including pants, socks and shoes along with a towel.
Can we use childcare vouchers for Sports Camp.
No. As we are not deemed child care providers, due to being sports providers these are not something we can facilitate.
Can you provide a receipt for us?
Yes, just ask and remind us. We will gladly provide this.
My child loves Sports Camps with you but is now 12, or 13, can they attend?
Yes, of course! We say 12 is the max, however if they are still able to let go, have fun, be silly, and be mindful we have little children, they are more than welcome, especially if they have been attending a while as they know what we do.
𝗠𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽?
Yes, yes, yes!! We now have a load of kids from different schools across the area and it always blows our mind when they all seem to know each other from different aspects of their lives. Yes you can 100% bring them.
𝗠𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?
As mentioned above, we're always surprised at how many children know each other from other organisations, friend groups etc. However, if they don't know anyone at all, we look at the ages and characteristics of the children present and introduce them to one another. Usually, within minutes they are best friends and have a fantastic time.
𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘂𝗽 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱?
Yes of course. As we are within a secure, gated venue, we ask you ring us when ready to collect so we can unlock the external gates for you and walk you round.
𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲?
Yes of course. As we are within a secure, gated venue, we'll close the gate once majority have arrived past the last drop off time. Therefore, we will need you to ring us when you arrive so we can unlock the external gates for you and walk you round.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀?
Most parents/guardians take Monday and Fridays off in the school holidays to be at home with the kids and therefore we find these days are just too quiet.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲?

Yes, as long as you provide us 24 hours notice we can either refund or transfer if there are any available sessions.

Not at all. Parents/guardians bring the children to all sessions, twice a week, once a week or just once throughout the whole holidays. It is entirely up to you.
