Jelly Kids
Jelly Kids is a subsidiary of Jelly Fitness, a Nottingham based health and fitness business aimed at creating healthier lifestyles.

Jelly Kids specialises in providing fun, safe and structured sports based sessions in and out of schools in the Nottinghamshire area.

We believe children need the best start in life when it comes to health and fitness, to ensure they participate in fun filled sessions to promote a healthier lifestyle over vanity based exercise.

Jelly Fitness has helped 1000's of adults become fitter, leaner, stronger, and more confident for nearly 12 years. Head coach, Simon, has delivered children's sports performance fitness for over 7 years and we are thrilled to include children's group fitness.

Whether it be After School Clubs, Day Sports Camps, PE Lessons, Activity Camps or Parties, Jelly Kids is the mechanism to create healthier lifestyles.

If you wish to cancel your child's place you must do so before 7am of the day of sports camp. Cancelling after this time or a no show may result in full payment being made before your child can attend another session.

Activities
At Jelly Fitness Sports Camps we provide a host of sports, games and activities which the kids love.

Such as:
* Dodgeball
* Football
* Foam Blasters (Nerf)
* Tag
* Shuffleball
* Cricket
* Rounders
* Parachute games.
* Crossfire
and more.

We also know how much they love "free play" with their friends and peers, which is why we have segments in the day to allow them to scooter around, play football, climb on the equipment and let their imaginations run wild. This is a key element to enjoy movement and sport. We know their focus is short and needs rejuvenating.

They will learn how to be part of a team, build co-ordination skills, increase abilities such as throwing, aim, and communication.

Are you ready?

Dodgeball
Everyone LOVES Dodgeball!

If your child isn't into football, dancing, gymnastics and so forth then we bet they will love Dodgeball!

These 90-minute sessions are for all children 8 years old to 12 years old.

Located at Leen Mills Primary School in Hucknall, drop them off with us in a safe, fun and welcoming environment.

What to expect.
We will split the group into teams, and play a variety of Dodgeball games, from standard game, Tunnel Ball, Protect the King or Queen, Island Dodgeball, Adult Vs Kids and so much more! (we may even play some Crossfire too!)

These are busy sessions with regular breaks throughout.

Yes, they WILL be hit by soft Dodgeballs and of course, some may land on the head and face. Of course, some balls will be a surprise to them, some may just land because they didn't catch or dodge in time.

We will always remove children which are too aggressive or bad tempered and get too carried away. But, they must realise these sessions will result in getting "out" or hit by the soft balls.

When and where:
Saturdays from June 8th at 9:30am to 11am at Leen Mills Primary School.
Leen Mills Lane, Hucknall, Nottingham, NG15 8BZ

As this is a school, we have access to toilets, water and can utilise both indoor and outdoor space.

Cost:
£7.00 per child for each 90-minute session.

What will they need?
* Water bottle
* Loose fitting layered clothing. Trainers are a must. No Crocs, flip flops, or sliders.
* Caps if hot days and possibly sun cream to be applied before on sunny days.

Do I/we stay with them throughout the session?
No, drop them off just before 9:30am and collect by 11am.
You MUST fill out a paper copy form on their FIRST visit. Please allow some extra time for this on the first session.

Do they need to bring food?
No. They should have been fed before they arrive and we will not provide food. They will however most likely be in need of a banana, apple or food post session!

Why only from 8 years old?
Mainly because the younger, smaller children do not like being hit by dodgeballs. Simple really. We find 8 upwards tend to cope better.

Can I/we collect before 11am?
Yes, of course. All we ask is you let us know at drop off and ring us on the numbers in the booking system to possibly open the gates.

Do I need to book my children on or can we just rock up?
No. Booking is paramount please. Use the button above or below or even CLICK HERE

My child/children do not attend Leen Mills School, can they come?
YES! 100% they can. We are just renting space from Leen Mills School for this project.
These sessions are open to ALL 8 - 12 years old from any school.

All about us
Jelly Fitness consists of three trainers, Simon Gunn, Jacqueline (Jax) Illingworth and Sara Windmill.

Sara was previously a Teaching Assistant with over 10 years experience of working in a local school.

In 2022, Simon and Sara became Children’s Fitness Instructors and Jelly Kids was born. Since then, they have provided high quality fun fitness sessions at Leen Mills Primary School.
